Year 7 Gifted and Talented Day
On Monday 22nd March, Breckland School Sport Partnership held their second Gifted and Talented workshop for pupils in Year 7 from the 5 High Schools
The Morning consisted for 3 sessions, - Fitness Testing and Core Stability training, Mental Awareness, Speed Staking and Time Management. All the pupils rotated around the sessions, picking up valuable advice from the the tutors.
After lunch the day became much more competitive, with a dodgeball competition. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the competitions, as for many for their first time experience with activity.
All the pupils worked hard throughout the evening and conducted themselves in a professional manner.

On Wednesday 6th, Breckland SSP hosted a Mixed Tag Rugby Festival for Y3-6 as part of its School Games offering. The event was held at Wayland Academy and supported by an excellent group of Sports Leaders from the academy.
