CROSS COUNTRY AT HOCKWOLD HALL
On Tue 7th November, both primary and secondary schools took part in cross country races through the beautiful grounds of Hockwold Hall.
During the morning over 250 pupils from across 15 primary schools took part in Y3/4/5/6 races for both boys and girls. The top 10 runners in each then qualified for the Norfolk School Games Finals later in the month.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and thank you to the sports leaders from Iceni Academy who did a great job marshalling the event.
In the afternoon, it woas the turn of the secondary schools. Running a further distance the runners would be competing in an inter-school event for the first time since the pandemic.
Again, well done to ober a 100 runners from Y7/8/9/10 for representing your school in what will become an annual SSP event.
