Partnership Games Qualifiers 2009
A fantastic time was had by 230 local high school students last week, when the Breckland School Sports Partnership held their first Partnership Games Qualifiers at Thetford Leisure Centre. This is an inter school competition where selected finalists are chosen to represent their Partnership in the county Norfolk School Sports Partnership Games which this year, is being held at Lynn Sport, Kings Lynn on 9th November.
Jenny Day, Partnership Development Manager for Breckland said “it was a great opportunity for the 6 high schools to come together to compete and to experience high quality competition”. The 6 high schools competing to have finalists in ‘Team Breckland’ were Wayland Community High, Attleborough High, Wymondham College, Rosemary Musker High, Charles Burrell High and Methwold High. The sports completing the line up for the Games are Girls Football, Mixed Hockey, Table Tennis, Netball, Indoor Rowing, Girls and Boys Rugby and Badminton.
