Thetford Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics Festival
On 21st October, Breckland Leisure Centre played host to the Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics Festival for the Thetford Cluster. The event was a great success with over 110 children from the five Primary schools taking part in a variety of events ranging from the long jump to relay races.
The competition was delivered by Year 10 Sports Leaders from Rosemary Musker High School. Their responsibilities included time keeping, managing the field events, organisation of the children and the accurate recording of all the results.
The event was very well supported by both teachers and staff and it was great to see everyone cheering the teams on especially in the final relay races.
The overall results were incredibly close with Queenway Juniors winning overall; they will go on to represent the Thetford Cluster at the Partnership Final later in the year.
