Pupils try out for Rugby Selection
On Monday 5th October 2009, pupils from 5 of the 6 High Schools took part in Rugby trials to represent the Breckland School Sport Partnership in the Norfolk School Sports Partnership Games happening on the 9th November 2009.
Rugby is one of the eight sports included in the games and is the first time Girls Rugby has been involved.
The standard of play was excellent and there will be some tough decisions to be made for selections in both the girls and boys.
My thanks go to Thetford Rugby Club for hosting the events, Wymondham Rugby Club for supplying qualified coaches to run coaching sessions, whilst the other teams were playing and finally to my SSCOs Marie Reidie and Jon Fudge for co-ordinating the teams.

MIXED TAG RUGBY FESTIVAL Y3-6
On Wednesday 6th, Breckland SSP hosted a Mixed Tag Rugby Festival for Y3-6 as part of its School Games offering. The event was held at Wayland Academy and supported by an excellent group of Sports Leaders from the academy.
