ATHLETICS SUCCESS FOR GT ELLINGHAM
On Tuesday 5th November Breckland Ssp hosted the School Games Y3/4 Sportshall Athletics Event.
140 pupils from 8 schools took part throughout the morning, competing in a number of athletics disciplines.
On the track teams took part in a number of different relay races. The field events included the following: verticle jump, 5 stride jump, standing long jump, chest push and speed bounce.
For each race and field event the best times, distances were recorded. With every pupils score contributing towards the teams overall score it was a real team effort across all events.
Pupils were enabled to take part in a maximum of two track and two field events each.
