HOCKWOLD HALL HOSTS PRIMARY CROSS COUNTRY
On Thursday 15th November Breckland Ssp hosted a Cross Country event at the stunning Hockwold Hall. All schools from across Breckland were invited, with a fantastic turn out of 267 competitors from 22 different schools.
The pupils from across Y3/4/5/6 followed a tree lined trim trail and continued around the estate, finsihing the race infront of the hall itself.
In accordance with UK Athletics regulations, the Y3/4 ran 1100m and Y 5/6 RAN 1500M.
The top 10 finishers in each race will now go on to represent Breckland Ssp at the Norfolk School Games Finals. To be hosted at Holkham Hall in march.
Congratulations to all, a full results listing will follow shortly.
Also a massive thank you to the Sports Leaders from Iceni Academy who showed great initiative and responsibility in marshalling the event,.
