A PUTT AND A CHIP WITH SKILLSY
On Friday 25th May, Schools from across the Breckland Ssp took part in a Tri Golf Event at Thetford Golf Club.
The event enabled schools to put forward teams of Y1/2 and Y3/4 pupils and take part in a skills based competition.
Schools from Weeting, Northwold, Hingham, Gt Ellingham, Rocklands took part and practised 7 different putting and chipping events.
This all took place on the driving range at the golf club under the watchful eye of Skillsy - Thetford Golf Club mascot.
Congratulations to all competitors and to Weeting Y1/2 team and Northwold Y3/4 team who have now qualified for the county finals.
The Norfolk School Games Tri Golf Finals will now take place at NFGC, Norwich on tuesday 19th june.

On Wednesday 6th, Breckland SSP hosted a Mixed Tag Rugby Festival for Y3-6 as part of its School Games offering. The event was held at Wayland Academy and supported by an excellent group of Sports Leaders from the academy.
