Last wednesday Iceni Academy hosted the Methwold Primary Cluster Cross Country event. It was great to see so many competitors with close to 100 y3,4,5,6 taking part.
Iceni Sports Leaders were on hand to help marshall the event which saw each age group complete 2 laps of the course (starting from different positions). The Year 3 pupils ran 1000m with Year 6, 1600m.
Every competitor maanged to complete the race and those who finished in the top 10 places are now invited to the level 2 event in Watton next month.

Year 4: 1. Mundford 2. Weeting 3. Feltwell
Year 5: 1. Mundford 2. Weeting 3. Feltwell
Year 6: 1. Feltwell 2. Iceni 3. Mundford

On Wednesday 6th, Breckland SSP hosted a Mixed Tag Rugby Festival for Y3-6 as part of its School Games offering. The event was held at Wayland Academy and supported by an excellent group of Sports Leaders from the academy.
