Iceni and Wayland contest Rowing Finals

On friday 3rd March, y7/8/9/10 pupils from Iceni Academy and Wayland Academy represented Breckland at the Winter School Games.

With over 240 Puplis taking part from across all four partnerships in Norfolk the competition was fierce,

Both has schools ran in-house competitions to determine who should go on to participate in the county finals.

The races were for Boys and Girls and included both individual and relay with distances ranging from 500m-3000m.

Overall Breckland finished 7th and were pleased to have competed at this level against some well trained club rowers.
