Hockwold and Methwold Community school played host to the second teacher and support staff CPD workshop on Tuesday 29th November 2011.
22 members of staff from across the cluster enjoyed an evening of Tag Rugby coaching by Diss RFC U17 Head Coach Tim Shaw and his son Tiger who performed all the demo's!!
The workshop was great fun with all staff being 100% engaged throughout the two hours. The participants learnt a variety of basic and progressive drills which they could take back to their schools and train the children ready for the School Games Tag Rugby Qualifier in March 2012.
I must say a massive THANK YOU to all who attended as the effort you all put in not only burnt up loads of calories but made the workshop a great success!!
All schools who attended the evening received a Tag Rugby starter manual, six lesson plans and a guide on how to referee a full game.
The next workshop is Tuesday 6th Dec 2011 High 5's Netball at Thetford Academy South Site 4-6pm
