There is a new MEND programme coming to Wayland!
MEND is a fantastic project aimed at children who are above a healthy weight and their parents.
It is totally free, run on behalf of NHS Norfolk by the Community Sports Foundation, and offers an opportunity to learn about (and practice!) eating healthily and keeping active.
Weekly sessions are going to be run over a 10 week period from January 2012, this is the first MEND programme to have run in Watton for a very long time so it would be great to see it doing well so we can continue to run them!
There are 2 sessions, one for 5-7 year olds and one for 7-13 year olds:
The programmes are due to start on the 10th January 2012 at the Junior school.
MEND 5-7, 4.00pm – 5.30pm
MEND 7-13, 5.30pm – 7.30pm
