Competition Format

 

Teams to consist of six players; four outfielders & two leaders

There are no goalkeepers in the game of Quicksticks

There are no gender restrictions on teams

Duration of match will be of three periods to allow for three rotations, every player playing two thirds of each game

Games will be played with a Quicksticks ball (larger & lighter than a normal hockey ball) designed for various surfaces

The playing area is the size of a standard netball court

 

Competition Rules

 

Each team member to be given the role of the leader who will be rotated at the end of each playing period

All basic rules of hockey apply with regards to starting and restarting the games after a goal or to start each playing period

Scoring a goal, it must completely cross the line, between the posts.

A penalty goal will be awarded for deliberately stopping a ball cross the line with a foot or body
