BRECKLAND SSP OPENING CEREMONY AND CULTURAL CELEBRATION

It is going to be held on Monday the 25th June 2012 which is the first day of school sports week and is on World Sports Day (London 2012 planned day for global celebration) 

The event is going to be one to remember for years to come with dance, music, art and food all being celebrated!!

We already have 29 schools signed up to the dance showcase and have already been allocated their country..which is AMAZING!!

Now you may be thinking i would not know how to plan a dance and i have missed the workshop so cant enter...well we have thought of that and Emily Harper is the teacher release at Wayland so is only a phone call away! (Emily is happy to pop down to your school to help you and will even work with your children to get you started)

You can enter 1-20 dancers per dance,  they can be one age group or a mixture, all boys, all girls or mixed its up to you

As for music you can get the children to make their own or have modern/traditional..Emily has told everyone that she has built up a bank of songs so just give her a ring for ideas.

The event will be in the evening so that parents and friends can be part of the fun!!

We are now confirming a venue to accommodate all these dancers!! 

We have invited the local papers and Radio Norfolk to showcase all the children's and teachers hard work 

Now we have 6 months to research, plan and deliver these dances so think as big as you can..costumes, face paint, props, hats etc!!!
