I am pleased to announce that Breckland SSP has teamed up with Easton College to put on a massive day of Olympic sport to mark 5 months to the day that the Olympic Games will start!! 

The event is to be held on the 27th Feb 2012 at Easton College and is open to students in YR5/6 (team of 12)

The day will attract a lot of media attention with Radio Norfolk and the local papers being invited

The children will take part in a carousel of activities related to the Olympic and Norfolk School Games.

There is also an educational aspect to the day with each school being allocated a country to research and put on a 5-10min presentation to the other schools.

We are looking to invite local Olmypic/Paralympic atheltes for the children to meet and run a Q/A session with.

The Day is only open to the following schools as places were offered on a first come first served basis with these schools responding first. (a cancellation list has been set up)

Queensway Jnr - Mexico

Thetford Grammar School - Italy

Bishops school- Poland

Rocklands -Fiji

Parkers- Greece

This is a fantastic opportunity for your children as not only will they be able to experience the amazing facilities which the college has to offer but they will also be part of the official count down to the Olympic Games..a memory they will never forget!!
